1. Roller coating
The melted hot melt adhesive is delivered to the rotating rubber tank, where the gluing roller rotates. This method of gluing is mainly used for gluing fabrics and gluing laminates, especially for gluing furniture such as tables, chairs, cabinets, etc.
2. Foam coating
In some special applications, in order to obtain the function of cushioning or shock absorption and reduce the amount of adhesive, nitrogen can be mechanically mixed into the molten hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive using a special foaming adhesive to form Expandable hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive. Foam coating technology is widely used in the assemblage of auto parts, replacing traditional rubber gaskets.
3. Spiral spray glue
This is one of the most common allocation methods. The hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive is sprayed from a nozzle by applied air pressure, which has fine holes in the nozzle to discharge a regular spiral gel. Bonding in this way can greatly reduce the amount of glue per unit area. Most structural adhesives used in diapers and sanitary napkins are made with spiral glue.
4. Flat die head scraping coating
The melted hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesive is evenly distributed in the die guide groove after being heated by the throat, and then extruded from the die lip. The film thickness and film width can be preset. Most industrial hot melt adhesive pressure sensitive tapes and labels are coated using a die cutting process.
5. Dotted gluing
Dot gluing is a fairly economical and fast simple process when the two stickers only need to be combined in part.
6. Strip glue
Similar to spot gluing, this process can be used when two stickers only need to be joined in a strip. Common applications include the edging of plastic boxes, such as the edging of PET curtain boxes, wine bottles and cosmetic boxes.
7. Curtain spray glue
Non-contact (hanging) spray curtains can provide effects similar to contact scraping when it is necessary to cover the surface of the coated material with glue due to insufficient heat resistance (such as PE film) or uneven surface of the workpiece.
8. fibrous spray glue
The spraying process is basically similar to that of spiral spraying, but the shape of the spraying wire is irregular, and the amount of glue sprayed per unit area is lower than that of spiral spraying.
